How do I listen to music only?
Mute the Vocals stem. The music will keep playing from the same position.
Will both stems play together?
Yes. Play, pause and seeking control both stems. Each stem has its own volume control.
How clean will the separation be?
Results depend on the recording. Complex mixes may retain traces of vocals or instruments.
How do I make an instrumental or isolate vocals?
Upload a recording and wait for separation to finish. To get an instrumental, mute Vocals and listen to the Music track, then choose Download in the music card. For the voice without accompaniment, download the Vocals track.
Example: prepare a song for karaoke
Listen to the chorus and backing-vocal sections first: some traces of vocals may remain. Download the instrumental WAV track. Volume controls on this page affect playback only and do not change the downloaded file.
Which formats and limits apply?
MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, OGG, AAC and Opus are supported. The source file can be up to 100 MB and 30 minutes long. The result is two WAV tracks available for one hour. Save them to your device before they expire.
