How to choose an audio format
The audio converter accepts MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, OGG, AAC and Opus, as well as video with audio. For example, to save an M4A recording as MP3, upload the file and choose MP3 in the result section. To keep the whole recording, select the full track and leave additional effects off. Preview the result and download the new version.

Which format fits your task?
MP3 — for everyday listening and sharing recordings.
M4A (AAC) — when your player or app needs this format.
WAV — when the next app requires an uncompressed audio file; it usually takes more space.
FLAC — to compress the prepared audio without adding further loss during saving.
Where do I choose the quality?
MP3 and M4A offer 128, 192 and 320 kbps; a higher bitrate usually means a larger file. Bitrate selection does not apply to WAV or FLAC. Choose the output format to suit the app or device where you will use the recording.
Will conversion improve the source quality?
No. The editor first prepares an intermediate MP3 track at 320 kbps. Exporting to WAV or FLAC cannot restore details lost to compression and does not preserve the original losslessly. Keep the original file separately if exact source fidelity matters.

How long is the result available?
Recordings are stored for one hour after processing. Download before expiry. No registration required.
