How to keep the part you need
Use this tool for a short quote, a music excerpt or a recording without a long introduction. Only the selected section is kept; audio before and after it is excluded from the output.

How do I set precise boundaries?
After uploading, drag the left and right selection edges on the waveform. Drag inside the selection to move the whole section. For precise adjustments, use the Start and End fields in MM:SS format. Make sure Keep is selected.
Example: keep 30 seconds of a song
Upload a song in MP3 or another supported format. In Keep mode, set the start to 00:15 and the end to 00:45 for a clip of about 30 seconds. Listen to After changes to check both ends. If needed, add fades in the Fades tab. Choose MP3 and a quality setting, then download the result. The source file on your device stays unchanged.
How do I trim a song on my phone?
Open this page in your phone browser and tap Choose a file. Select a saved audio recording and wait for it to be prepared. Use the Start and End fields to fine-tune the boundaries, then preview and download the clip. You can prepare an audio file for a ringtone here; setting it as your ringtone is a separate step on your phone.
